The First Post

When a friend of mine offered to produce a website for me, the first thing that went through my head was "why do I need a website when I've already got a blog?" But my ambitious side got the better of me and I decided to go ahead with it. Usually, when people have their own sites, they call it Simon Simpson. To me that sounds too egocentric and so I avoided calling it neilpatel.com. The reason it's called Dangerwrites is that I wanted it to be a bit quirky and a big shout out to some friends in Birmingham.

Like I mentioned previously, I'm really into writing and it stems from the work I do at Voice 21. Nowadays, I just check the articles, giving my input where it's needed. With Dangerwrites, it's for the rest of the world to see what I've done. On this site you'll find articles I wrote for the magazine and looking back, I had a lot of ideas.In fact I've still got quite a lot in my head.

So keep your eyes peeled as I'll be updating the blog with stuff I find... Interesting I guess...
