Autoplay

Comic fans and Transformers fans were spoilt for choice this weekend. Birmingham’s Nostalgia and Comics had a signing from top Black Country born and bred Marvel artist, Mike Perkins. Whilst next door at the Holiday Inn the hotel was the annual Auto Assembly convention. I’ve interviewed Mike which I’m currently in the process of transcribing right now.

As for AA, I’m not much of a big Transformers fan like I used to be, I’ve got some of the Transformers toys which I’m content with. I went there to check out the con and hopefully get a Ravage USB stick.

Although I didn’t get find the stick, a lot of dealers told me that it was hard to get hold of Well, it looks it’s going to be an eBay job! At the convention, I finally managed to get a sketch from past interviewee, Simon Williams. A regular attendee at the con, the artist is also working on his own project, Discotronic Funk Commandos. Like I mentioned I’m not the biggest Transformers fan out there. Having said that, I think I’d be in a very, very small minority if I mentioned it at AA but I had a good time. I’ve taken some pictures which you can peruse here.
